Born in Muskegon and raised in Whitehall, Michigan, Victoria—known to most as Tori—is deeply committed to her community and passionate about guiding clients through complex legal matters.
She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with an emphasis in Criminal Justice from Hope College, along with a minor in Writing. Tori continued her education at Michigan State University College of Law, where she received her Juris Doctorate. While at MSU College of Law, she gained valuable experience as a Student Associate at Family and Elder Law of Mid-Michigan, drafting estate planning documents such as deeds, wills, trusts, and power of attorney forms.
Her hands-on legal training extended to an internship at Southeastern Dispute Resolution Services in Jackson, Michigan, where she trained as both a general civil mediator and a domestic relations mediator. Tori successfully mediated landlord-tenant disputes, helping parties reach fair and amicable agreements.
In addition to her client-facing work, Tori served as a Research Assistant at the Michigan State University John F. Schaefer Law Library. Her leadership experience includes serving as Vice President of the Family Law Society during her second year of law school, where she fostered engagement and educational opportunities in the family law field.
Admitted to the Michigan Bar in May 2024, Tori is excited to join Brianna T. Scott and Associates, PLLC, where she continues to focus on client-centered legal advocacy.
When she is not working, Tori enjoys spending time with her rescue dog, Hutch.
